    Need help opening a file

I have a client who just got a new machine running Windows XP.  They installed their Simply 2008 and upgraded their data, but after the upgrade it would not allow them to open the company.  They have brought me the data on a USB key and I can open it here with our Accountants Copy of Simply 2008, no problems.  So I copied the data back to the key, and asked to to make a folder C:\AcctgData and copy his files into this folder.  Then upgrade his Simply to Release C (to match what I am running) then open the data, but still no go, the program opens and allows him to pick a file to open but that's it.  We tried to open the Skeleton template that comes with the program, it goes through the upgrade process and then that's it, we get nothing.  Has anyone seen this before?  Can anyone help?  Thanks in advance.

    Hi Pam,

Opening an SA 2008C file with a SA2008 A or B program does not give a warning that it cannot open the file, it just does not open.  I would confirm the install of C on your client's computer really happened properly.  Just a guess though.
