    Balance Sheet won't run

I tried to run a balance sheet to June 30th and see the 'Report in progress' indicator start at 0%, then shut right down. I am able to run a balance sheet to June 9th, but to no further. Other affected reports are the Trial Balance and Cash flow. All other reports seem unaffected, including the general ledger.

This client has a very large database with 7500+ journal entries - is this the reason why?

Anyone understand what is happening or has seen this happen?

    Hello Patti,

When you generate the financial report, do you change the report template to the Default Report Options template before generating the report?  If you do this, and generate the report does it run?

Can you also run the Advanced Database Check in your Maintenance menu?

This is a tough one to trouble shoot this way because it could be sooo many things (print drivers, MS .Net framework etc.)  You may want to give Support a call to troubleshoot further.

    Re: Balance Sheet won't run

Hi Kim. I tried to change the report template to the default report options, but I'm still not able to run the report. As I mentioned in my first post, I can run it to June 9th, but it won't run for any date after that.

I ran the advanced database check and didn't find any errors.

Can't see that it would be print drivers as I can run the balance sheet up to June 9th.

    Thanks for your help,

    Patti
