Ability of simply acc 2007 to handle transactions

    hiii to all

I am planning to use simply accounting pro 2007 version. i am engaged in trading business that means i will use inventory module also on average my monthly tarnsactions are 500 and i am concerned about its ability to handle this number of transactions and can any body give me some confidence that this will run smooth and also even if it runs smooth then for how many years it will servive.

Hi there:  If you are just starting out, then you should probably be using the Simply 2008 Premium as it is the most current version and you pretty well have to update each year anyway if you are doing Payroll.  No point in starting out with 2007.  But someone else may have a more detailed answer to some of your other question.  Rita  Deering

As Rita suggests, move up to 2008 right away if you can afford it - there are some good features in it - one of my favourites is the ability to automatically reverse transactions in the previous year.

To answer your question about # of transactions - we have several clients entered 1500 transactions per month - any version, Basic and higher, over the past several years
