When is the best time to upgrade Simply?.  I am currently using Simply Accounting Basic 2007.  When I started working with this client the Bookkeeper had 2008 but didn't get a chance to upgrade.  I have just started a new fiscal year and would like to upgrade to 2008.  I am still entering transactions for the previous fiscal year.  When I upgrade will I still be able to access/view transactions in  previous year?  So I guess I have 2 questions?

1.  Will I be able to access the previous year (2007-2008) when I upgrade?

2.  When is the best time to upgrade?

1. Yes, the data will be converted to the new version and, unless you clear data thru the Maintenance menu you will access data from before.

2. Any time you want but do a backup before you start (one never knows!)
