    Clearing Data - Simply program stops responding

    I have been trying to clear look up data and every time I try the program stops responding.  At first I thought it was my computer but then I tried to do this on a laptop and on another computer and had the same problem.  I've even tried just clearing look up data for one customer but get the same result.

    Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to get around this?

    I have seen this happen when trying to clear large amounts of data.

    However my experience is that if you can be patient and start the clearing process just before you leave the office for a couple of hours, it will actually be cleared out when you get back. And yes, you do get the program indicating that it is 'Not Responding' - in most cases it is actually working on clearing the data.

    You can also try clearing out smaller groups and date ranges.
