Sage Software suggests the following as minimum system configuration requirements for Simply Accounting solutions. Your specific requirements may differ.
In addition to the following, Simply Accounting products require any and all Product Updates available for your product.
Simply Accounting Entrepreneur
- Pentium III (or equivalent), 1 GHz or higher
- 256 MB RAM (512 required for Windows Vista)
- 820 MB hard disk space (additional 100 MB of hard disk space needed for installation)
- Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2
- Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista
- Excel integration requires Microsoft Excel 2003 or 2007
- 256-colour or higher SVGA monitor, optimized for 1024x768, supports 800x600 with small fonts
- Mouse
- CD-ROM drive
For optimum performance we recommend:

- 512 MB RAM (1 GB for Windows Vista)

Conversion
Does not convert any data from any versions of Simply Accounting. Imports customer and vendor data from QuickBooks versions 2001-2007, MYOB versions 10 and 11, and Quicken versions XG 2003, XG 2004, and XG 2005.
Simply Accounting 2008 and Simply Accounting Premium 2008

Conversion
Converts all data from all previous versions of Simply Accounting, excluding DOS and Macintosh versions. However, it is not possible to convert to a lower level version. Converts general ledger, customer, vendor, employee, and inventory data from QuickBooks versions 2001-2007; MYOB versions 10 and 11; and Quicken versions XG 2003, XG 2004, and XG 2005.
